Delivery of 35 VDL mini buses for Syntus

VDL Bus & Coach delivered 35 mini buses to Syntus in early August 2015. The vehicles will be put in service in the Dutch provinces of Overijssel and Gelderland. Of the 35 mini buses, 10 vehicles are destined for the concessions Midden-Overijssel and 25 vehicles for the Veluwe. Syntus places great importance on quality and has therefore decided to replace all the mini buses at the same time. These mini buses have an entry door behind the B-pillar, which is unique in the Netherlands.

The VDL mini bus
The VDL mini buses for Syntus are built on the basis of a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. Unique to this bus is the entry door, which is located behind the B-pillar. All 35 mini buses have eight passenger's seats and one driver's seat. Its compact dimensions (total length is 5.930 metres) make this bus highly manoeuvrable.
